A new project of the Student Counselling Centre is promoting mental health and wellness for UWindsor students.
Ashley Vodarek is co-ordinator of Wellness at UWindsor, an electronic newsletter to inform students about services, resources, and events to help them thrive during their university careers. The first issue launched last week; she plans to produce two each semester.
The inaugural edition promotes Thursday evening yoga sessions scheduled for the lawn outside Dillon Hall, lists support services available on campus and in the community, and previews the free Campus Mental Health Day, October 3 in the student centre. Read the entire newsletter.
