Winning door hinges on Seuss oeuvre

Co-operative education can take you places, and that theme was on display in the winning entry in the #UWinProud Door Decorating Contest.

The competition called on faculty and staff to show their campus pride by dolling up doors with blue and gold. The championship team — the Office of Co-operative Education and Workplace Partnerships — will receive a catered coffee break, courtesy of the Office of Student Experience.

Their decorations played on the Dr. Seuss book Oh, the Places You’ll Go to illustrate how experiential learning can open doors for graduates.

The judges — students Ahmed Abdallah, Brianna Clancy, and Rebecca Burkoski, and Campus Community Police officers Kevin Parent and Tyson Jacob — chose from more than a dozen contestants. Find photos of the all the entries on the contest website.
