Photo booth supports hospital fundraiser

A photo booth in the lobby of the Odette Building raised funds and awareness Monday for Windsor Regional Hospital Foundation’s Hats on for Healthcare campaign, but the opportunity to give is still open.

The annual campaign, now in its 13th year, has raised more than $450,000 for programs and services at the hospital. This year’s beneficiary is the mental health program at the Ouellette Campus, consisting of the new assessment unit, eight psychiatric intensive care beds, and 60 beds in the acute care unit. Funds raised will help purchase medical equipment, furnishings, and items that support patients.

The Odette School of Business waged a three-week effort on behalf of the campaign, culminating in the March 28 photo booth. It invites donations until March 30 to Team Odette School of Business on the charity website.

UWindsor students who donate will be entered into a draw for a chance to win:

  • one of three $100 Visa gift cards, or
  • an Odette swag basket

Put on your best hat and help make a difference for healthcare in Windsor-Essex.
