While many Canadians are getting ready to enjoy the Easter long weekend, there are patients who need lifesaving blood and plasma. Canadian Blood Services is asking new and returning donors in Windsor to show up to help others.

With the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions across the country, travel and family activities make it difficult for people to find time to donate, but the demand for blood and blood products never stops.

The donor centre at 3909 Grand Marais Rd. East in Windsor has many open appointments:

• Friday, April 15, 8 a.m. to noon
• Saturday, April 16, 8 a.m. to noon
• Monday, April 18, 3 to 7 p.m.
