Reading to launch books by UWindsor instructors

Two authors on the UWindsor faculty will read from their new books at a launch event Wednesday, April 27.

Sessional instructors André Narbonne of English and Peter Hrastovec (BA 1979, LLB 1982) of law are releasing works through Black Moss Press in a night of “Fish & Fiction.”

Dr. Narbonne’s novel Lucien & Olivia is a love story set in Halifax, the Great Lakes, and the eastern seaboard during the early 1980s. Hrastovec’s book of poetry There Will Be Fish explores the concept of surviving compared to thriving.

Following the reading, the authors will entertain a question-and-answer period and sign copies of their books. The event will run 7 to 9 p.m. at the Windsor Club, 2072 Riverside Dr. East. Register here for free tickets to attend.
