Lancer Recreation hosted its annual Intramural Champions Banquet for the first time in four years on April 5 in the student centre’s Alumni Auditorium.

With more than 16 leagues and tournaments offered this year to over 2,000 participants, the event recognized the first intramural champions inside the award-winning Toldo Lancer Centre. It also marked the return of in-person leagues which had been suspended since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Individual awards were presented to:

• Intramural Participant of the Year – John Marop Mathiang
• Intramural Official of the Year – Jerry Adjetey
• Intramural Sport Manager of the Year – Alan Paul
