Like a greatest hits album, Café Chez Vanier will be serving up patrons’ favourite dishes this week, says manager Jane Meunier. She has dubbed the special promotion “Vanier’s Best of the Best” and says it’s the first time Food Services has put together an all-star line-up.
“It’s our way of saying thank you,” she says. “We look at the sales every day and those numbers tell us what’s popular. This week, we’re putting out all the heavy hitters.”
Menus will feature chicken parmesan, prime rib, perogies, roast turkey and for dinner Wednesday, a barbecue on the terrace. Meunier promises some treats as well, including a make-your-own sundae bar and savings on fountain pop.
“The students will be in exams pretty soon, so we figured this would be a good time,” she says. “We want them to enjoy what they’re having.”
Café Chez Vanier is open Monday to Thursday, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Check each day’s offerings on the Food Services Web site.
