#2012-NU-13 Catering Supervisor (temporary full-time position, approximately eight months, August 2012 to April 2013 ), Department of Food Services – Catering

Under the direction of the Catering Manager, the Catering Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and delivery of catering and conference meals to campus and non-campus clients, and overseeing the operation of the University Club.
The incumbent is responsible for all aspects of liquor and bar services; the delivery and service of catering/conference meals; overseeing service in the University Club; training of persons employed in catering and the University Club.
Essential qualifications: Five (5) years experience in catering and banquets. Previous experience in inventory control, ordering supplies, recording sales and submitting deposits. The incumbent must be SMART Serve trained and familiar with Liquor Licensing Board of Ontario (L.L.B.O.) rules and regulations.
Preferred qualifications: Experience at a large hotel or banquet hall. Experience managing a staff of 20+ people at a given time.
