Indian film festival to continue this weekend

The second weekend of “A Hundred Years Plus One” promises screenings and a panel discussion, as the celebration of the centennial of Indian cinema continues Friday and Saturday.

Madras Café will be shown at 6 p.m. Friday, November 22, and Shuddh Desi Romance at 3 p.m. Saturday, November 23. A panel discussion featuring Aswin Punathambekar of the University of Michigan and UWindsor’s own communications professor Jyotika Virdi will follow at 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
