Riding alongside his children—a seven-year-old and a three-year-old—has given him lots of practice in slow bicycling, says Bob Hodge.
A technician in the biology department, he won Wednesday’s Slow Bike Race, sponsored by the University of Windsor Cyclists Association, by crossing the finish line last.
Although his victory carried with it prizes of a water bottle and reflective trouser band, Hodge says he wasn’t motivated by mere material gain: “I was in it for the glory.”
