Attend a Public lecture and Music Composition Workshops run by Dr. Martin Kutnowski

Dr. Martin Kutnowski, St. Thomas University, composer and pedagogue, will give a public lecture, entitled “The Teacher as Mentor and Adventure Travel Guide”, and will run a series of music composition workshops, April 16-19.

Dr. Kutnowski is Associate Professor of the Fine Arts at St Thomas University, Fredericton, NB.  Earlier this year, he was awarded the John McKendy Memorial Teaching Award by the university, after being nominated by his students and peers. 

The music composition workshops will also include sight-readings/rehearsals of the newly composed pieces. Students are invited to bring their compositions for review and consultation with Dr. Kutnowski. 

This event is organized by the Faculty of Education and Academic Development and the School of Creative Arts, and is funded by the Office of Research and Innovative Services.

Attendance is open to both students and the public.
