The Lancer women’s hockey team will play host to the Western Mustangs to open its season Thursday, October 13, at South Windsor Arena. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
Head coach Jim Hunter has high expectations for the squad, which boasts last year’s top three scorers in Ontario University Athletics: third-year forward Krystin Lawrence and fifth-year seniors Shawna Lesperance and Erinn Noseworthy.
“With 95 per cent of our roster returning, we have a great opportunity to improve on our finish from last year,” says Hunter.
