While many Roman Catholics think of miraculous healings as something rare, the Bible shows them as a normal part of church life, says Mary Healy.
A professor of scripture at Sacred Heart Major Seminary in Detroit, she will discuss the Christian mandate to be a field hospital in a world of people needing healing on Tuesday, September 12, at the parish hall of Most Precious Blood Church, 1947 Meldrum Road.
Her free public lecture, entitled “The Role of Healing in Evangelization,” is presented by Assumption University as part of its Christian Culture Series.
