Booth to bring Bystander Initiative to human kinetics Thursday

An interactive booth in the Human Kinetics Building will introduce the Bystander Initiative to students Thursday, Jan. 31.

The Bystander Initiative aims to cultivate community responsibility for preventing sexual violence. Its goal is to create a campus where people look out for each other, working together to have a safer environment for all.

The booth will be set up from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. outside the undergraduate lounge in the HK building lobby. This event will include a photo booth and a contest, in which students will be eligible to win a $50 Lululemon gift card!

The Bystander Initiative offers a three-hour sexual assault prevention workshop and two courses to educate students at the University of Windsor.
