Choirmaster set to conduct through busy weekend

UWindsor music professor Bruce Kotowich will have a busy weekend, directing the Windsor Symphony Orchestra Chorus at the Capitol Theatre on Friday, May 10, and the Windsor Classic Chorale at Paulin Memorial Presbyterian Church on Saturday, May 11.

Friday’s concert, entitled “With a Voice of Singing,” begins at 7:30 p.m. at the theatre, 121 University Ave. W. Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door, with a student rate of $10. Order online through the orchestra’s website.

Saturday’s performance will feature two guest artists from the school of Creative Arts faculty — organist David Palmer and soprano Jennifer Swanson. The program, “We Sing Because…” begins at 7:30 p.m. in the church at 3200 Woodland Ave. Tickets are $20 in advance available for purchase online, or $25 at the door.
