Accessible spaces and places subject of Tuesday session

The Accessibility Awareness Days series continues Tuesday, March 15, with a webinar on applying the principles of universal design to make campus spaces accessible to all.

The session, at 11:30 a.m. on Microsoft Teams, will address:

  • myths about universal design,
  • the UWindsor Accessible Built Environment Committee,
  • navigational and wayfinding tools, and
  • accessible amenities at Leddy Library.

Presenters include professor emeritus Veronika Mogyorody; Cherie Gagnon of the Office of Human Rights, Equity, and Accessibility; associate university librarian Karen Pillon; and visual arts and the built environment alumnae Manjola Bali (BA 2021) and Maria Lederer (BA 2021).
