The United Way has compiled a resource guide for people who want to give or receive help during the holidays.

Its Holiday Sharing Guide lists organizations running donation programs for gifts and toys, food bank and baskets, and community meals.

“The guide is a great resource for families looking for food bank resources, toy drives, groups looking to adopt families for the holidays,” says Danielle Moldovan, the charity’s manager of resource development.

Consult the guide on the United Way Web site. The United Way also funds the 211 helpline, which provides referrals to community and social services.

Reminder: The campus United Way campaign reminds donors to submit pledge forms to its chair Datta Pillay through campus mail. Some had been misdirected to the payroll department.
