Campus employers hoping to submit job proposals for the 2012 work-study program will see changes in the process, but participating students should experience no difference.

The program funds part-time employment for students demonstrating genuine financial need – generally at no cost to campus employers.

Students apply through the “awards search” on the Student Information System or myUWindsor portal; the Student Awards and Financial Aid office determines their eligibility. The student application and approval process will remain unchanged.

New for 2012/13, the Centre for Career Education will post openings on its myCareer system. The centre will distribute more information and an invitation to submit job proposals in mid-August.

Employers wishing to retain previous job proposals for reference should print them out, as they will be deleted with the current database.
