It’s a dream come true for David Robbins-Singh. The third-year drama student will record his first comedy album during a live performance of his stand-up act Friday, November 16.
“It’s incredible,” says Robbins-Singh, who uses a wheelchair and performs under the stage name “Squeaky Wheelz.”
He has labelled Friday’s event “Roll with it,” and the line-up of comedians includes Tim Bailey, Billy Rae Bauer and Cameron Adamson, in addition to Robbins-Singh.
The doors will open at 7:30 p.m. and the show will start at 8 p.m. on the Theatre Windsor stage, 2109 Ottawa Street. Admission is $19, with the proceeds going to benefit the Downtown Mission. For tickets, phone 519-890-3273.
