UWindsor representatives head to capital for discussions

UWindsor Board of Governors chair Jennifer Jones will join president Alan Wildeman and officials from universities across the province at Queen’s Park today for meetings with provincial politicians and officials during University Day.

The event is designed to be a celebration of the successes of Ontario’s universities in preparing students for careers which make contributions—economically, culturally and socially.

This will be the first time the day, organized by the Council of Ontario Universities, involves board chairs. Representatives hope to educate members of the provincial legislature about the role of universities in developing human capital and attracting international talent.
