Program offers summer work experience for youth

The University’s Career Services office is now accepting job proposals from faculty and staff for the 2014 Summer Experience Program, which offers entry-level work for youth to develop skills that are career-related and transferable to the general labour market.

The number of positions is limited, and final approvals will be made by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. Positions cannot entail performing tasks or assignments performed by union members on campus.

Applications must be submitted no later than 4 p.m. Monday, February 10. For funding and eligibility details as well as the electronic application form, e-mail Yvonne Currie, career development coordinator in the Student Success Centre, at ycurrie@uwindsor.ca.
