Fan wins chance to cheer on Lancer women in national tourney

Jacqueline Stagner, undergraduate programs coordinator in the Faculty of Engineering, appreciates the dominance members of the Lancer women’s basketball team show in every facet of their game.

Not only do they lead Ontario University Athletics with a 19-1 record, the three-time Canadian Interuniversity Sport champions top the league in every statistic listed in a quiz Tuesday: most points per game, fewest points allowed, field goal percentage, rebounding, assists, steals and blocks.

Dr. Stagner will receive two tickets to watch the Lancers open their campaign for a fourth straight national title during the quarter-finals of the Bronze Baby tournament, March 14 at the St. Denis Centre.
