University retains lawyer to conduct investigation into student referendum

The University has retained Raj Anand, a partner at the law firm WeirFoulds LLP, to conduct an investigation into complaints with respect to the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions referendum held by the University of Windsor Student Alliance (UWSA).

UWindsor president Alan Wildeman sent a letter Wednesday to the UWSA explaining the details of the investigation, and asking people engaging in discussion of the issues to refrain from making offensive statements targeting particular religions or nationalities.
