More to mindfulness than respiration: psychology colloquium

Although mindfulness is a hot topic in popular media, many academics and clinicians have little understanding of its practices and how they might be employed in daily life, classroom activities, or clinical interventions, says psychology professor Carlin Miller.

She will address how trait mindfulness, induced mindfulness, and brief mindfulness interventions may be measured and data analyzed from multiple ongoing research projects in her free public presentation “But, I already know how to breathe,” Thursday, December 3, at 4 p.m. in room 203, Toldo Health Education Centre.

The event is part of the University of Windsor Psychology Department Colloquium Series.
