Music professors to add tune to rhythm of big bang

Three UWindsor music instructors are among the featured performers in a concert this weekend that will put percussion front and centre.

Whether they’re finger tappers or snappers, foot stompers or hip swayers, “The Big Bang” promises to get listeners in touch with their inner beats.

Marimbist Nicholas Papador, clarinettist Trevor Pittman and trombonist Michael Stone will join drummers and even a harpist for the show, part of the chamber music series presented by 4th Wall Music. It begins at 4 p.m. Sunday, January 31, at the Capitol Theatre, 121 University Avenue West. Admission is $15, $5 for children.
