Training to provide introduction to process improvement system

A three-day session in the Ed Lumley Centre for Engineering Innovation will provide training in how to integrate the principles of business, statistics and engineering.

The Institute of Industrial Engineers Windsor Student Chapter is hosting the course Six Sigma Green Belt for Process Improvement, February 10 to 12. The introductory course will help students to understand how to eliminate defects in fields as varied as manufacturing, healthcare, finance and government.

Chapter president Amy McCrindle calls the training “an outstanding opportunity for all” students and professionals.
“The application of the knowledge gained from this training course will have a tremendous impact on your future,” she says. “This training is a pillar to achieving many organization's goals. The techniques learned are invaluable to the success of any individual.”
