Session to offer graduate students communication skills

As ways of communicating change with the digital age, it is increasingly important to be an effective written and oral communicator.

A workshop Thursday, November 16, will lead participants through the do’s and don’ts of successful communication, including professional document writing, delivering quality presentations, and interview tips and tricks.

“Best Practices in Professional Communication” is part of the Propel professional development program for graduate students and will run noon to 1:30 p.m. in room 100, Joyce Entrepreneurship Centre. Register through the mySuccess portal, or just drop in — it’s free either way.
