To recapture its dynamism, the church must reconsider how it tells its stories, says Rev. Thomas Rosica.
“We may wonder at times why people aren’t turned on by our stories, our ministry, and why the young aren’t interested in who we are and what we do,” he says. “Maybe part of the reason is that we aren’t telling our story in the right way — or maybe not at all.”
CEO of Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation and a past president of Assumption University, Rosica will address the topic in a free public lecture Tuesday, entitled “Evangelizing the Secular World: Are we telling our story in the right way?”
The event, 7 p.m. February 27, is part of Assumption University’s Christian Culture Series. It is set for Tecumseh’s Ste. Anne Church, 12233 Tecumseh Road East.
