Contest winner to enjoy concert experience

Farrah Francis, a career consultant in Career Development and Experiential Learning, won Thursday’s DailyNews trivia quiz and its prize of two tickets to the Concerto Concert, 7:30 p.m. Feb. 1 in the Heritage Auditorium, Assumption Hall.

Her entry was drawn from all those which correctly identified Daniel Wiley as assistant conductor of the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, Dmitri Shostakovich as composer of the Spanish Dance, and Nicholas Papador as percussion instructor in the School of Creative Arts.

Saturday’s program will feature music students Tomi Xhelili and Ethyn Janssen as soloists accompanied by the Windsor Symphony Orchestra.
