Webinar to discuss working with Indigenous scholars and communities

A webinar on Tuesday, Nov. 16, will provide knowledge on working with Indigenous scholars and communities.

It will cover topics such as:

  • What projects can Indigenous scholars do?
  • What projects can settler scholars do?
  • How and when do Indigenous and settler scholars work together?

The panellists — Indigenous scholars Jamie Kechego, Ashley Glassburn-Falzetti, and Rebecca Major — will use examples from their teaching and research to address these and related questions.

The workshop will run from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and is open to faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, and staff and will take place in Microsoft Teams.

The workshop is co-hosted by the Office of Research and Innovation Services and the Centre for Teaching and Learning. Registration is now open on the ORIS website.
