Sunday stroll to support Down syndrome charity

A riverfront walk on Sunday, March 20, will raise money for Up About Down, a Windsor-based organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for people with Down syndrome and their families.

The Disability Studies Student Association presents the Rock Your Socks Down Syndrome Day Walk as its first in-person event in two years. All participants will receive warm drinks, water, and snacks. Those who raise at least $5 in donations will also get colourful socks and masks.

The walk begins at 11 a.m. at the Bert Weeks Memorial Gardens, on Riverside Drive East at the foot of Parent Avenue. Registration closes today — Wednesday, March 16.
