Treat Trail looking to put campus offices on the map

There’s still time for UWindsor offices to put themselves on the map and get candy ready for trick-or-treaters, say organizers of the Campus-Wide Treat Trail.

Sandra Riccio-Muglia, director of events for the Student Centre, invites all UWindsor offices to participate in the annual twist on Halloween tradition from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31.

“We’re so excited to be able to relaunch this event,” she says. “It really is a great campus collaboration that we enjoy hosting together. We all have fun! Some offices get creative with their décor while some even dress up. It’s an inviting event and we educate students about the services available on campus as they hit the treat trail.”

Treat bags with a map list of participating departments will be given out at the Student Centre starting at 9:30 a.m. Signage placed around campus and matching posters on participating buildings will alert students to the treat stops.

The deadline to be listed on the maps and other promotional materials is Oct. 24. To claim your place on the treat trail, contact Riccio-Muglia at smuglia@uwindsor.ca with department name, building, room number, and an individual contact.

At noon on Halloween, the Student Centre will also host a free illusionist show and face-painting, courtesy of the University of Windsor Alumni Association.
