Competition offering cash to campus clubs

Student groups with an idea for improving post-pandemic life can turn that product, service, or solution into cash in the Blue Sky Competition run by the Entrepreneurship Practice and Innovation Centre (EPICentre).

The annual event inspires teams of two to four students to reach for the sky and present an inspiring solution or business idea.

This year, as part of Lancer Care week’s focus on mental health awareness and support, it is seeking ways to address mental health capacity in the recovery stages of post-pandemic life.

Prizes for finalists will fund club events and outreach activities: $1,000 for first place, $500 each for second and third, sponsored by the University of Windsor Alumni Association.

The competition will take place on Thursday and Friday, Jan. 26 and 27. The deadline to apply is Jan. 24. More information is available on the EPICentre website.
