The first-ever Philosophy Salon Event drew students from three local secondary schools.
A workshop Feb. 17 and 18 will consider the contributions made by the late Douglas Walton in the fields of argumentation and informal logic.
Philosophy professor Jeff Noonan will lecture on “Eating, Working, Laughing: Embodied Humanist Values for the 21st Century,” Thursday, Nov. 24.
Ashley Glassburn will deliver a lecture “Indigenous Language Loss and Epistemic Value” Nov. 16 in celebration of World Philosophy Day.
