Conference and Accommodation Services is a “one stop shop” for coordinating University of Windsor facilities and services, says department head Paul Louviere.
“Whether it’s a small group of 10 people or an international conference of 1,000 delegates, our organizational expertise will ensure your event’s success,” he says.
Professional staff are available to assist in conference or event planning from the early stages until the very last steps — everything from registration services and budget preparation to contract reviews and off-site facility booking.
Louviere says many people on campus don’t realize the full extent of his operation. Besides management services for conferences and gatherings large and small, the department operates through the summer months — May, June, July and August — offering overnight accommodations in Alumni Hall to travellers, “just like a regular hotel.”
