Cartier Hall to lose telephone service Wednesday

A re-splice of the telecommunications cable to Cartier Hall will leave that building without landline phone service for part of Wednesday, February 15, reports Facility Services.

The work is in preparation for the demolition of the former Drama Building, says project administrator Mark Rudkin: “All the telephones are fed from the old drama building to Cartier, but we’re rewiring around it.”

He has also scheduled a fire watch for Wednesday, since the work involves a fire alarm outage.

Please direct any questions or concerns to Rudkin at 519-253-3000, ext 2168.
