Renovations to begin this week in Dillon Hall

Renovations in Dillon Hall will close the building’s washrooms and restrict access to other areas through the summer, Facility Services reports.

The washroom renovations are scheduled for completion by August 31. Until that time, all washrooms in Dillon Hall will be closed; washrooms are available in the adjoining buildings--Essex Hall, Memorial Hall, the University Computer Centre and the CAW Student Centre.

Additional work will take place in the women’s lounge at the south end of the ground floor corridor; rooms 119, 121, 123, 261, 362 and 364; and the building’s janitorial closets, mechanical and electrical storerooms. Please direct questions or concerns to project administrator Roger Rivard at 519-253-3000, ext. 2166.

Renovations will also begin today to classrooms 254, 256, 367 and 368, with the goal of completion by the end of August.

Contractors will erect hoarding in corridors to close in the work areas. Work on the third floor will block the corridor at the south end of the building, restricting access to the south stairwell. Please direct questions or concerns to project administrator Mark Rudkin at 519-253-3000, ext. 2168.
