Paulina Peang, a second-year biochemistry student, won Tuesday’s DailyNews quiz contest and the prize of a beautiful cardigan sweater donated by the University Bookstore.

Peang’s name was drawn from all entries which correctly identify the first women to hold each of these positions at the University of Windsor: dean Lois Smedick, dean of engineering Hoda ElMaraghy, athletics director Joanne MacLean, vice-president Amanda Gellman.

To help celebrate the University of Windsor’s 50th anniversary, DailyNews will run a contest at the beginning of each week, offering a prize donated by the University Boookstore. Today’s prize, this navy blue sweater embroidered with a full-colour UWindsor logo, is available for purchase from the Bookstore kiosk in the CAW Student Centre at a cost of $63.90.
