The registrar’s, cashier’s, and financial aid and awards offices will remain open late on September 10, 11, 17 and 18, providing service from 8:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

It’s all about addressing client needs, says acting registrar Charlene Yates, who conducted a survey on improving service in the winter 2013 semester. The survey drew more than 1,200 responses from students, faculty and staff.

“One of the key requests we heard was to extend our hours during registration periods,” Yates says. “We are so excited to be able to address this concern, which we expect will be especially appreciated by part-time students and those with heavy class schedules during the day.”

She cited comments from students who said that longer hours would prove more convenient, especially at the start of each semester when demand for services is particularly high.
