Winter Orientation, January 6, will assist mature and transfer students beginning their UWindsor studies next semester to transition to the University. It runs 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Winclare A, Vanier Hall.
The Student Success Centre hosts the event, which will include a breakout session for students coming directly from high school. At Winter Orientation, you will have the opportunity to:
- Get your UwinCARD photo taken (student card)
- Sign up for your UWindsor webmail account
- Learn about UWindsor classroom technology
- Get to know the difference between your past educational experiences and UWindsor
- Familiarize yourself with the campus, staff members, and all services available to you
- Meet other new students and hear current students’ experiences
