All UWindsor students received a surprise bonus in their UWin accounts on Monday, as an expression of the University administration’s appreciation for their patience during this semester’s work stoppage.

Full-time students received $15 and part-time students received $10.

These funds can be used at the following locations:

• all on-campus Food Services outlets, including Tim Horton’s, Second Cup, and Subway
• the University Bookstore
• printers
• photocopiers
• vending machines
• laundry machines
• off-campus partners: Swiss Chalet, Applebees, Harvey’s, and PizzaPizza
• online to pay at Campus Parking Services, Registrar’s and Software Depot.

A 32-day work stoppage by members of Local 1393 of the Canadian Union of Public Employees, representing trades, technical and professional staff, ended October 10.
