Odette student team to join province-wide accountancy competition

A team of three UWindsor students will compete with their peers from across the province for pride and prizes in a contest sponsored by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, January 25 in Toronto.

The annual competition, dubbed the Battle for CA$H, gives university students considering careers in Chartered Professional Accountancy the opportunity to test their skills, have fun and earn some cash prizes.

Odette School of Business students Tiffany Fatima, Peter Ducharme and Alazhar Sisay will represent the University of Windsor as one of 37 teams to use their CPA skills—communications, teamwork, leadership and time management—in a bid for the CA$H Cup, which carries a $3,000 award along with bragging rights.

The Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario is the regulatory body of Ontario’s almost 37,000 CPAs.
