New registrar to take office April 1

Provost Leo Groarke announced the appointment of Alice Miller as UWindsor registrar Wednesday, effective April 1.

Miller has served in a variety of roles at the University of Lethbridge for more than 20 years, including assistant registrar overseeing admissions and transfers.

“She is known as a strong advocate for collaboration between the Registrar’s Office and other key stakeholders,” said Dr. Groarke. “She has experience amalgamating business processes to make them more effective in a way that decreases their impact on resources.”

Groarke also thanked Charlene Yates for serving as acting registrar for a year and a half, calling her “a key leader” at a time of significant change.
