Conference to explore issues of “everyday feminism”

A conference organized by the University of Windsor Feminist Research Group will showcase the research of graduate and undergraduate students exploring feminist influences in everyday life Friday, March 14.

“As in previous years, this year’s conference theme is broad and will focus on issues pertaining to women and feminism,” says organizer Mia Sisic, a doctoral student of psychology. “The program will feature presentations in diverse subjects, from history to music, social work to engineering.”

The event will run 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Katzman Lounge, Vanier Hall. Registration is $5 for students and $10 for non-students, including refreshments and lunch. Register on the conference website.
