A researcher on e-politics will discuss how modern communications is affecting civic affairs in a free public lecture Tuesday entitled “What's #Trending in Politics? Social Media and New Political Engagement.”

Vincent Raynauld, an assistant professor of communication studies at Boston’s Emerson College, serves as a research associate in the Recherche en Communication Politique at Laval University and as an academic adviser for the Toronto-based non-profit research organization Samara.

His UWindsor appearance is set for 4:15 p.m. March 10 in room 203, Toldo Health Education Centre.
