Workshop to promote financial literacy

A free workshop Thursday, November 5, promises expert advice on spending, borrowing and saving while at school.

Money Matters for Post-Secondary Students looks at how to create a spending plan that matches your expenses, how to use credit cards to improve your credit history, and where to go to find help and more information. The workshop is particularly useful for first-year students, but all students are welcome.

It will begin at 2 p.m. in Ambassador Auditorium, CAW Student Centre. Light refreshments will be provided. Register online at: http://attend.com/FinancialLitWorkshop15.

This workshop is provided by TD/MBNA in partnership with the Office of Alumni Affairs and Donor Communications. For more information, phone the Alumni Office at 519-971-3618.
