The holiday luncheon for faculty and staff, December 8 in Vanier Hall’s Winclare Room, will leave patrons with a warm glow, knowing they contributed to helping some of Windsor’s needy, says catering manager Dean Kissner.

The event promises festive food stations and the company of friends and colleagues at a stand-up reception in a casual holiday setting.

Kissner reminds attendees to bring donations of canned goods for the student food bank, which distributes non-perishable items out of Iona College. New this year is a raffle in which entrants may submit tickets for their choice of prize. The proceeds will benefit the breakfast program at St. James Catholic Elementary School. The west-end school’s choir will provide entertainment during the luncheon.

Tickets are going fast at $12 per person, including tax and a festive beverage. They are available until December 4 from Catering Services; phone 519-253-3000, ext. 3276 or 3277.
