Friends and colleagues of retired business professor Peter Mateja, who died January 1, will celebrate his life during a memorial service Tuesday, January 19, at 10:30 a.m. in room 123, Odette Building.

After working as an executive with organizations that included Navistar International, the Automotive Parts Manufacturing Association, Smart Energy Solutions, and the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Association, Mateja joined the UWindsor faculty in 2008 and served as co-director of the Office of Automotive and Vehicle Research in the Odette School of Business until his retirement in December 2015.
