Drupal training available for UWindsor website editors

A class February 8 will help staff and faculty responsible for maintaining UWindsor websites learn the basics of the Drupal content management system.

Drupal 7 Basics will focus on teaching site editors how to create pages and events, upload graphics and use menus and blocks, says instructor Rob Aitkens.

Web architecture, development and design lead in the Office of Public Affairs, he has refreshed the training with new materials and examples.

“It is suitable for site editors with little previous Drupal experience, or as refresher, or for those moving from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7,” Aitkens says.

The class will run 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, February 8, and is limited to 16 participants. Registration is required through this online form.
