Campus Bookstore preparing for return of Pottermania

The Campus Bookstore is getting ready for the next installment of Pottermania, as the eighth entry in the iconic series hits its shelves August 2. Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is the script of the stage play, based on a story by author J.K. Rowling.

The bookstore has set up a board on the wall opposite its entrance inviting readers to write what Harry Potter has meant to them.

“We want to hear from the fans,” says marketing coordinator Martin Deck. “Harry Potter is more than just a book—it’s a worldwide phenomenon that has touched the hearts of millions.”

A display inside the store features every book in the series to date, as well as additional material.

The latest story is set 19 years after the events of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows; it follows the title character, now a Ministry of Magic employee, and his younger son Albus Severus Potter.

The Campus Bookstore is offering the book at $23.75, more than 40 percent off the $39.99 list price. Reserve your copy online.
